Donkey Beach, is also known as Paliku Beach, Kuna Beach or Kumukumu Beach. It's a pleasant, secluded beach that was once a well known nudist beach. The beach is perfect for sun-worshipers, but the swimming here can be less than ideal, due to the choppy waves.

Donkey Beach, is so named because there used to be a herd of donkeys and mules nearby that were used to haul sugar cane in the adjacent fields.

Even with recent development in the area, Donkey Beach, is still one of the more secluded beaches on Kauai. It has restrooms and a paved access road, both of which are huge improvements on what was available here only a few years ago.
