Waipouli Beach is a fantastic beach that lays in front of many of Kauai's East coast resorts, specifically, the Islander on the Beach Hotel, Kauai Sands Hotel, Waiouli Beach Resort and Spa, and the Aston Kauai Beach at Maka'iwa are all close to the beach in the Waipouli Resort area. Waipouli Beach has a nice bike/walking trail, but can be somewhat dangerous to swim at.

Geographically, Waipouli Beach lays between Kapa'a to the North and Wailua to the South. Just North of Waipouli Beach is Waipouli Beach Park, which offers better swimming in it's shallow and protected waters.

At Waipouli Beach, it's quite common to see Sea Turtles and Monk Seals can be seen. But remember, Monk Seals are protected by law, so don't approach them, even for a quick picture!
