Barking Sands Beach is another beautiful white sand beach that has great views of the sunset and also of the island of Niihau. Take caution swimming here though, because treacherous water conditions make swimming hazardous.

Barking Sands Beach is actually part of the Polihale State Park. The beach gets it's name from the sound that the sand makes when walked upon -- that of a barking dog.
